LIVE at The Rosebud: October 7, 9, 10, 11, 2025

Downtown Roseburg had a record-breaking weekend with the 4th Annual Blocktoberfest! Eight city blocks choc full of vendors, food trucks, beer kegs, and music stages hosted thousands of people in the biggest Blocktoberfest to date. After the party the music continued into the night at North 40 with Rovers & Dragons, Draper Draft House with The John Dough Boys, and the Rosebud with FunkShui, DJ Derty, and DJ SofaSoul. Big things are happening in Downtown Roseburg, and folks are starting to notice!

Here’s what we have for you this week…

Tuesday, October 7th:

Power-pop and emo take over the Rosebud with Mike Liorti’s San Diego-based Lioneer (formerly known as Rosendale) and Roseburg’s own mathy emo rockers Tarantula Trust Fund. Join us for a high-energy all-ages Tuesday night!

Thursday, October 9th:

Experimental groove sextet NIGHTBRAIN brings the psychedelic dance party to The Rosebud, blending moody groove with indie psychedelia: think The Doors meets Billie Eilish. Local genre-bending indie-rockers James & The Lost Dogs opens the show.

Friday, October 10th:

Northwest bluegrass heros dadweed team up with Portland’s Matt Mitchell Music Co. for an evening of acoustic Americana. Matt Mitchell opens the night with a stripped-down acoustic duet playing his clever, witty, confessional folk originals. dadweed headlines the show, reimagining pickin’ & thumpin’ by blending elements of jazz, folk, pop, and R&B with a traditional bluegrass lens.

Saturday, October 11th:

take a trip to the rolling hills of Ireland with the Willamette Valley’s Celtic quintet Possibly Irish. From traditional foot-stomping pub songs to original compositions with soaring vocal harmonies, Possibly Irish creates a fusion of energy and emotion that captivates audiences.

Biram, Sasquatch & the Sick-a-Billys, and Author Buezo for a wild Wendsday; Tuesday String Band for a foot-stompin’ Thursday; The Brothers Reed for a packed Friday; FunkShui, DJ Derty, and DJ SofaSoul for a groovy Blocktoberfest finale; and Eva Slongo & Jimmy Grant for a virtuosic Sunday matinee.
