LIVE at The Rosebud: October 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 2025
One year ago Laura Bird of The Mynabirds christened The Rosebud stage with a solo performance on our humble console piano (donated by Jason Heald). The stage was half-finished, the mezzanine was a storage unit, and we had exactly enough metal chairs for the tickets sold. The project was unfinished, but the magic, potential, and excitement were tangible.
One year later, the stage is adorned with curtains and lighting, the mezzanine is transformed with a mural by local artist Katrina Muchmore, we have thirty new cushioned theatre seats, and the project is still unfinished! A music venue is more than a piece of art to be completed: It is a living, breathing organization of people, sound, and color, always changing, always evolving. Every night is a new opportunity, with new ideas, new people, and a new direction.
Thank you all for believing, showing up, and supporting The Rosebud Theatre!
