Gretta Seabird began with a simple songwriting challenge. Every two weeks, Jeremiah Brunnhoelzl would email guitar tracks from his flat in Brooklyn, NY to Lee McDonnell in Portland, OR, who would then give herself a mere day to pen down lyrics and melody. As the songs formed at a rapid, yet natural pace, the pair began to believe in the poetry they were creating, in the little moments caught in time. Thus, Gretta Seabird was formed, and with it the debut EP “Cycling.”

The band Acoustic Blend was originally formed by John Rogers in 2008. In the beginning, the band covered acoustic-driven classic rock songs from the '60's '70's. Acoustic guitars and a Blend of vocals were the mainstay. Venues and band members changed over time, as did the list of songs and styles. Becoming a bit more "eclectic and electric", the band now plays a much wider variety of musical hits from the '50's and beyond. Current members of the band have been together for over 10 years. From Coffee houses, small pubs, local breweries, local wineries, to local service clubs and private parties, the band's popularity has grown.
