OK, what is Three For Silver?

Three For Silver is the primary musical project of singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Lucas Warford, “the acid baby of Tom Waits and Les Claypool,” as NW legend Baby Gramps once called him.

​They're an aggressively original band that is impervious to easy description.

If asked what they sounds like, the most accurate answer would be, "They sound like Three For Silver."

​Three For Silver features one-of-a-kind instruments you've never seen playing styles mixed in ways you've never heard. The band has hit the road since 2013, and their monomaniacal devotion has led them all over the world.

​And so?

The good book tells us of a secret chord that David played that pleased the lord.

Three For Silver does not know this chord, nor have they any interest in learning it.

But they have their own secret chord they've been working on.

Like all sufficiently advanced technology, the chord is indistinguishable from magic,

and like magic, a little misstep can backfire spectacularly,

but when they hit that chord just right it can dispel any mundane fog and reveal wild originality growing right in front of you.

Or not. There's no accounting for taste.
