LIVE at The Rosebud: October 30, 31, November 1, 2, 2025
The end of October is upon us with its moody weather, spooky themes, and costume parties. A far but persistent sun shines through half-naked trees glimmering with dew and lining the glowing streets of Downtown Roseburg. Soon the sun will go down before the doors open, and the night-life will start to look a lot more like itself.
As the road to 2026 takes shape, I am very excited for the new concepts, spaces, musical lineups, and generally awesome times that are in the works here with The Rosebud team. Stay tuned for big news just around the bend!
Here’s what we have for you this week…
Thursday, October 30th:
Cackle into the Halloween weekend with an evening of dark standup comedy! Headliner Derek Sheen mines humor from the dark, humid corners of the human condition. Feature Imani Denae tells it like it is with her unique observations, witty puns, and social commentary. And Eleanor Ryan hosts the pre-All Hallow’s Eve comedy show!
Friday, October 31st:
Break out the sequins and go-go boots and get ready to BOOGIE DOWN with Denver’s endlessly groovy and far-out funk / soul / pop septet Hand Turkey! Then get your groove on with DJ Edge Lion for a disco-infused afrobeat dance afterparty.
Saturday, November 1st:
Turn back the clocks with country-blues hillbilly-jazz jug band Dumpster Joe & The Boys and blues connoisseur Tevis Hodge Jr. as they “totally rock your socks off and make you wanna slap your pappy down!”
Sunday, November 2nd:
open mic with Levi Melendez is back! Join us every 1st Sunday of the month with your songs, poems, standup routine, or hidden talent. Sign-up begins at 4pm! Performance start at 5pm.
We had a wonderful and eclectic weekend at The Rosebud reuniting with old friends and making new ones. Thank you to the unstoppable blues-rock couples New Age Phonograph and Hecktic Week, the vampiric post-punk party animals Shadowhouse, Stariana, and DJ Eric Yokai, the pirates and piratesses aboard the Rovers & Dragons Celtic pub ship, and the incredible singer-songwriters of Fox & Bones and Justin Farren. Thanks to our team, our patrons, and every one of you, for every time you log off, tune in, and drop by The Rosebud Theatre.
