LIVE at The Rosebud: February 26, 27, 28, March 1, 2, 2026
Music is a vast ocean of possibility. From heartbreaking songs to gut-wrenching riffs to mind-altering sonic improvisation, the variation is limitless. Diversity is the key to evolution, and the history of music is proof of that. Whether it’s rock ‘n’ roll, folk, metal, or jazz, the soundwaves crash against our senses, creating a physical, mental, and spiritual reaction coded into our DNA. Music is the smoke of human experience: the sound starts within, the waves dissipate in the distance, and all that’s left is the truth.
Here’s what we have for you this week…
Thursday, February 26th:
Roseburg’s own classic rock, country, and pop dance band Borrowed Time takes the stage for a decades-spanning trip down memory lane!
Friday, February 27th:
Metal reigns. Eugene’s metalcore outfit Villains in Vain is joined by southern Oregon’s Two Piece Face and Portland’s melodic metalcore band When Empires Fall for a night of brutal breakdowns, heavy riffs, and the inevitable mosh pit.
Saturday, February 28th:
Skirting the line between modern pop and folk singer-songwriter, Portland’s original roots / pop duo Angelic Noise takes the stage with their unique sound inspired by love, lies, family, travel, and meditation.
Sunday, March 1st:
Mexico City’s critically acclaimed psychedelic punk jazz power trio A Love Electric returns to The Rosebud for an unforgettable boundary-breaking performance. The trio performs regularly with musical luminaries from John Medeski to German Bringas, prioritizing risk, commitment to the music, and a powerful personal dynamic.
Monday, March 2nd:
Canada’s blistering new hard-rock powerhouse DERAPS - are storming the United States for the first time ever, bringing their high-voltage, late-’70s-inspired sound to American stages and to The Rosebud stage next week!
ON ITS FIRST WEEK OUT DERAPS “VIVA ROCK N’ ROLL” WAS THE #1 BEST SELLING HARD-ROCK & METAL ALBUM IN JAPAN! RELEASED ON MAY 23 2025 WORLDWIDE, DERAPS’ SECOND ALBUM IS MAKING A BIG IMPRESSION WORLDWIDE! Jacob went viral in his teens posting videos of him doing Eddie Van Halen solos on YouTube which led to picking up Dweezil Zappa and Steve Lukether as fans, which led to him finding a partner in a drummer/vocalist/writer, living in Australia and they formed a band. With the first release they did dates in Canada with Tom Cochran, Heart, Foreigner, and Loverboy, and toured the UK and Germany with BOC, then the official Van Halen website put his record on sale on their website and fans of BURN magazine in Japan voted them “Best New Artist of the Year”. With the 2nd release the week it came out it was the #1 Selling Album on Amazon in Japan the week of its release and he did a feature article in BURN, and recently he did an interview with Guitar World and now endorses EVH Guitars.
