It is St. Paddies Day weekend and we’ve got a full multi-genre week of music for you! Whether it’s Australian blues rock, Americana marriage-duets, grungy ska, or funky hip-hop and jazz, we’ve got what your ears have been craving. Stop in and take a sonic holiday at The Rosebud.

Thursday, March 12th:

Mesmerizing folk duo Ordinary Elephant has spent the better part of the last decade on a never-ending tour that’s earned married couple Crystal and Pete Damore widespread critical acclaim and made fans of luminaries like Tom Paxton and Mary Gauthier. In 2017, the pair took home the International Folk Music Award for Artist of the Year on the strength of their breakout album, Before I Go, and two years later, they returned with the similarly lauded Honest, which the Associated Press hailed as “one of the best Americana albums of the year.”

Nina and The Rebel Rockers are a band of five musicians in the PNW who are ready to rock and entertain! They bring a mix of reggae, rock and covers of the classics and todays hits. Some of their influences include Fleetwood Mac, The Expendables, Sublime and many more.

Comfortably switching up styles from soulful crooning to gritty rock, from rootsy reggae to funky hip hop, and everything in between, Portland’s Dear Drummer takes the stage! The band has become known for their fun, high energy live shows, laced with impressive vocals and contagious grooves & melodies that get the audience up and moving, and a sound that works well on a bigger, louder stage.

Sunday March 15th, step into The Rosebud Theatre's private vinyl listening room for an intimate performance of new instrumental jazz-infused originals by Tommy Whiteside featuring Mike Stinnett, Christian Springman, and Milo Brosamer. Step into The Rosebud Theatre's private vinyl listening room, and settle in for a one-hour traditional Chinese tea service designed for small groups of up to five guests. $10 per person takes you on a one-hour journey, tasting a curated selection of authentic Chinese teas prepared and served in a traditional style by Rosebud co-owner (and resident tea artist) Michael Mendenhall. These reservations are All Ages and available at 12pm or 1:30pm, on Saturday. There are five spots available each hour, you can sign up solo, with a friend, or bring your group of five if space allows. Tickets are required through the link below. Upon arrival at The Rosebud, check-in with the bartender. You will escorted into the private event room.
