Friday, June 5th:

Syco Billy’s String Band LIVE at The Rosebud // Flexible Ticket Pricing Available Online: $10+, $15 at the Door // All Ages // Doors 6pm, Show 7pm // Progressive Bluegrass, Newgrass, Americana

Syco Billy's are more than just a band—they’re the heartbeat of a progressive bluegrass movement that blends Americana, folk, and newgrass with a touch of French influence.

Their sound bursts with tight harmonies, soulful vocals, and high-energy performances that ignite every stage. With exceptional musicianship and undeniable camaraderie, this 5-piece string band delivers an unforgettable experience that stays with every listener.

Raised in the Roseburg area, opener Tristin Thomas made the move to Silverton in 2016, where a chance connection with Glen opened the door to something bigger. His natural talent quickly stood out, leading him from casual jam sessions and occasional sit-ins to becoming a full-fledged member of Syco Billy’s. With a Bachelor’s degree in Music and Theatre from Western Oregon University, Tristin brings both technical skill and stage presence to the band, helping shape the energy and sound that define their performances.

Saturday, June 6th:

Alec Bang & The Cult Classics // $15 // All Ages // Doors 6pm, Show 7pm // Acoustic Blues, Folk, Singer-Songwriter, Cabaret

Alec Bang & The Cult Classics don’t show up to entertain. They show up like weather. Hot wind. Red light. Something in the air that makes people act a little more like themselves than they meant to.

Somewhere between the first note and the last, things slip. The version of you that knows how to behave loosens its grip. Call it a show if you want. That’s the easiest lie in the room.

Out front is Alec Bang, guitar and vocals. He doesn’t posture or confess. The songs hold up a mirror and leave you alone with it. No clean resolutions. Just the sense that something got closer to the surface than usual.

That’s one way to tell it.

The band took shape in 2021 at Utah’s regional Burning Man, Element 11, when Alec Bang met Dirk Jeffrey on lead guitar mid-set and didn’t stop. Since then, it’s moved through festival circuits and desert gatherings, headlining for the SLC Lunatics and appearing at Desert Reverie, growing into a rotating lineup: Alexis Pfuzz on violin, Dayton Livingston on bass, Dan Muir on percussion, Matt Gooch on drums, with others passing through as the sound demands.

Blues runs through it, but nothing stays put for long.

Some people walk away from it. Some don’t. Either way, it follows you home.

With opener Reverend Folklore of Insomniac Folklore.

Sunday, June 7th:

Wednesday, June 10th:

Gretta Seabird LIVE at The Rosebud, w/ Baroque Betty, Caeli Barnhart // $15 // All Ages // Doors 6pm, Show 7pm // Folk Pop, Singer-Songwriter

Gretta Seabird began with a simple songwriting challenge. Every two weeks, Jeremiah Brunnhoelzl would email guitar tracks from his flat in Brooklyn, NY to Lee McDonnell in Portland, OR, who would then give herself a mere day to pen down lyrics and melody. As the songs formed at a rapid, yet natural pace, the pair began to believe in the poetry they were creating, in the little moments caught in time. Thus, Gretta Seabird was formed, and with it the debut EP “Cycling.”

Baroque Betty is a dark, orchestral folk ensemble hailing from Eugene, OR. With lyrics replete with animal and nature imagery, and love lost but not forgotten, the music is reminiscent of a fairy tales more in the fashion of Grimm than Disney, with minimalistic guitar styling and soaring string-laden melodies (string arrangements by Julia Frantz, Alex Abrams, and Corwin Bolt) to accompany them.

Roseburg’s singer-songwriter Caeli Barnhart opens the show!
