Here’s what we have for you this week…

The Rabbit Hole at the Rosebud Thursday, August 13th:

Widespread Haze Plays Quietly LIVE at The Rabbit Hole in The Rosebud // $10 // $5 for Rosebud Club Members // All Ages // Doors 6pm, Show 7pm // Rock ‘n’ Roll, Americana

Join The Rosebud’s own rock ‘n’ roll power trio Widespread Haze in our living-room style speakeasy The Rabbit Hole for an intimate night of original music, unplugged and up close!

Fun, fearless, and unmistakably original, Widespread Haze has carved out their own corner of the Pacific Northwest music scene with rollicking rock ‘n’ roll rhythms, rippin’ electric guitar solos, and the kind of authentic songwriting that sticks with you. Based in Roseburg, Oregon, this modular power trio blurs the lines between Americana, folk, and classic rock with a sound that feels both timeless and wildly alive.

Note: There will not be a show in the main Rosebud venue on Thursday

Friday, August 14th:

Bongolatte LIVE at The Rosebud // $15 // All Ages // Doors 6pm, Show 7pm // Latin Jazz, Afro-Cuban, Brazilian

Bongolatte is a high-energy band blending Latin Jazz, Afro-Cuban, and Brazilian rhythms into a vibrant musical experience. The group was founded on California’s Mendocino Coast by pianist and bassist duo Dorian and Dorothea May, alongside dance teacher and percussionist Chad Swimmer. After relocating to Eugene, Oregon, Dorian and Dorothea expanded the band, teaming up with percussionists Carlito Perez and Rich Fling. Together, they bring a dynamic mix of smooth jazz harmonies, fiery percussion, and infectious rhythms that ignite any stage.

Bongolatte’s performances are an irresistible celebration of culture and connection, drawing listeners and dancers alike into their unique soundscape. Whether at intimate venues, festivals, or dance nights, they captivate audiences with their engaging style and joyful energy.

Saturday, August 15th:

Not Your Ex Lover, Bad Luck Blackouts LIVE at The Rosebud // $15 // All Ages // Doors 6pm, Show 7pm // Femme, Glitter-Rock, Grunge-Pop

Not Your Ex Lover (NYXL) is a Latina, femme, glitter-rock band based in Bend, Oregon. Their music tells the story of love and heartbreak with a grunge-pop vibe - and lots of sparkle. The band was formed in the high desert in Central Oregon in 2022, bringing together Kourtni (lead vocals, lyricist, and rhythm guitar), Julie (lead guitar and violin), Reya (bass and vocals), and KiKi (drums). NYXL began their journey in a neon-lit garage, where late-night jam sessions shaped their sound and strengthened their sisterhood. After a year of experimentation and self discovery, they emerged with a powerful style that channels the truth of their experiences alongside the joy and playfulness of their aspirations.

Blood-pumping and highly addictive, Bad Luck Blackouts hit the skate-punk scene hard after forming in Eugene, Oregon late 2010. This new old-school punk band's fast and dynamic tunes are well complimented by the band's ability to bring in crowds and have them singing along - long after the show ends.

Sunday, August 16th:

Flagman, Tethys, Arthur Buezo LIVE at The Rosebud // $15 // All Ages // Doors 6pm, Show 7pm // Alternative Metal, Savage Folk, Experimental

Founded in 2015 by Sam Stewart and Cody Singleton, Flagman has been churning out a steady flow of deep fried Alternative Metal that can only be rivaled by the trailblazers who pioneered the sound. Wearing the influences of '90s Schizo-Rockers like Primus and Mr. Bungle along with the heaviness and wacky irreverence of System of a Down on their sleeves, Flagman has forged a sound that is as unique as it is familiar. In the last several years, Flagman has frequently hit the road and supported bands such as Battles, Sleepytime Gorilla Museum, Hed PE, Man on Man and more. Despite various lineup changes, touring challenges and the many other hurdles that accompany bands in the modern age, Flagman remains committed to delivering their brand of ADHD Alt Metal that sets them apart from their peers.

Arthur Buezo has been a professional musician since 2010 and now is a One-Man-Band performer bringing the self titled genre, Savage Folk. While keeping original music alive and well.

Tethys is an American multi-instrumentalist and live performer of industrial rock and electronic music. He creates handmade instruments that he uses in his performances and recordings. He is currently based in Eugene, Oregon.
