The Upstate Trio is a funky, energetic, and talented jam band that originated in Gloversville, New York in 2003. Having cut their teeth and honed their considerable musical chops in the upstate area, they brought their sound westward in 2008, making their new home in Eugene, Oregon. Comprised of guitarist Jay Waylett, bassist Justin Alric, and drummer Matt Veeder the Upstate Trio is a veritable feast for the ears. Incorporating elements of rock, funk, reggae, blues, and jazz in their music in live performances, they seamlessly bob and weave through sets that include rousing, provocative originals as well as covers ranging from rocking Phish, Zeppelin, and Talking Heads tunes to intimate jazz standards, with the fluidity and precision of a Swiss watch. Catch them live for the full Upstate experience.

Lioneer LIVE at The Rosebud with Gavin Prophet, Support by Tarantula Trust Fund // ALL AGES // $15 presale, $20 at the door // Doors at 5:30, Show at 6pm // Pop-Punk, Emo, Alternative
Formerly known as ROSEDALE, Lioneer is a cosmic musical journey by Mike Liorti and friends. Originally from Toronto, Canada, Mike Liorti transplanted to San Diego in 2019 after working his way onto Warped Tour stages and bringing his DIY tours to Southern California in the 2010s. Lioneer delivers an exemplary message but in a unique, cosmic light; be yourself, put your best foot forward, and never give up! The stars will eventually align!
Gavin Prophet is a multi-instrumental singer, drummer, guitarist, songwriter, performer – uniquely specializing in singing while drumming, as well as having an explosive and animated stage presence while performing as a frontman. He describes his solo artist music as, the best of the early 2000’s nostalgic pop-punk sound with a modern production and more genre-experimental influence, throwing in lyricism that goes from commonly relatable to calling out a destructive exploitive system that most of us find ourselves traversing today.
Tarantula Trust Fund is a Midwest Emo trio from Roseburg Oregon, bringing Emo to the Pacific Northwest. Tyrell on guitar and vox. Zachery on bass. William on drums.
