LIVE at The Rosebud: July 29, 30, 31, August 1, 2, 4, 2026

We’ve got seven events in six days coming at you starting Wednesday with a female blues duet from Eugene, into Thursday with a psychedelic jam-band from Bend, moving on to Fifth Friday with a femme The Strokes tribute group and a theatrical goth performance. Rockabilly Saturday, Sunday Afternoon Mimosas & Massages, Sunday evening Open-Mic, and a Tuesday metal show tops off this run of eclectic events at The Rosebud.

Here’s what we have for you this week…

Wednesday, July 29th:

StringBeat w/ Sonny Hess & Claudia Paige // $10 // All Ages // Doors 6pm, Show 7pm // Blues, R&B, Rock ‘n’ Roll

StringBeat is the dynamic guitar & drum duo made up of award-winning guitarist Sonny Hess and drummer Claudia Paige.

Together they sound like a slow-burning groove rolling in and catching fire on the stage. The drummer lays down a deep swampy, earthy, funky groove, pulling from blues roots and global rhythms that breathe and move. Over that pulse, the guitar howls, sighs, and testifies, blending R&B soul, blues grit and rock and roll fire. The result is music that grooves hard but feels loose - a raw yet real conversation between rhythm and melody that simmers, swells and hits you right in the chest.

Thursday, July 30th:

Spencer Marlyn Band LIVE at The Rosebud // $12 Presale, $15 at the Door // All Ages // Doors 6pm, Show 7pm // Reggae, Funk, Folk, Psychedelic, Jam Band

Spencer Marlyn Band is what happens when a looping wizard and a one-man drum circle collide. Formed in Bend, Oregon by two Midwest transplants, this high-energy duo delivers the kind of sound you’d expect from a full band—genre-hopping their way through funk, reggae, bluegrass, jam, folk, and psychedelia.

Frontman Spencer Marlyn combines captivating songwriting with a looping setup and effects pedal mastery, while percussionist Scottie brings a globally influenced punch, shaped by his background in West African rhythms and a wildly diverse drum kit. The result? A danceable, feel-good explosion of sound packed with originals and crowd-favorite covers.

Friday, July 31st:

(FIFTH FRIDAY) // The Flicks: A Tribute to The Strokes, w/ SawBasket LIVE at The Rosebud // $15 // All Ages // Doors 6pm, Show 7pm // Tribute, Indie-Rock, Post-Punk

Eugene’s femme tribute to The Strokes The Flicks pays homage to the indie rock legends at The Rosebud for Fifth Friday.

Theatrical goth rock opens the show with SawBasket and their tales from beyond! Stories of zombie dogs, rogue souls, and more await you from their act!. Blending elements of theatre with old timey radio shows, their live show experience is for sure one to check-out!
